Gas-Fired Radiant Tubes

Efficient indirect heating for controlled atmosphere furnaces.

In heat treatment and annealing processes, product quality depends entirely on precise temperature control within a clean, controlled atmosphere. Gas-fired radiant tubes eliminate the risk of oxidation entirely: combustion takes place exclusively within the radiant tube, while heat is transferred by radiation from the outer surface to the product — flue gases remain completely separated from the furnace atmosphere.

Key benefits

  • Complete atmosphere protection: flue gases never reach the furnace chamber.
  • Uniform heat distribution for consistent product quality with every production run.
  • Reduced product oxidation and surface damage, resulting in higher yield.
  • Lower energy consumption through efficient radiant heat transfer.
  • Long service life and high process reliability in continuous high-temperature operation.

Available configurations

U-type, W-type and P-type radiant tubes, available in cast, seamless and welded construction. Suitable for process temperatures up to 1200°C.

Applications: Heat treatment, annealing, hardening, ferrous and non-ferrous metal processing, controlled atmosphere furnaces.
